Logging In
Asset360 uses Google OAuth for secure authentication. This guide will walk you through the login process.
Accessing the Login Page
- Navigate to the Asset360 application URL
- If you're not already logged in, you'll be redirected to the login page automatically
- The login page displays the Asset360 branding and a "Sign in with Google" button
Signing In with Google
- Click the "Sign in with Google" button on the login page
- You'll be redirected to Google's authentication page
- Select your Google account or enter your credentials
- Grant permissions if prompted (Asset360 only requests necessary permissions)
- You'll be automatically redirected back to Asset360 after successful authentication
First-Time Login
If this is your first time logging in:
- Your account will be automatically created
- You may need to wait for an administrator to assign you to an organization
- If you're not assigned to an organization, you'll see a "No Organization" message
Troubleshooting
"No Organization" Message
If you see a message indicating you don't have an organization:
- Contact your system administrator to be assigned to an organization
- System administrators can create organizations and assign users
Authentication Errors
If you encounter authentication errors:
- Ensure you're using a valid Google account
- Check that your browser allows cookies and pop-ups
- Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
- Contact support if the issue persists
Logging Out
To log out:
- Click on your profile icon in the top navigation
- Select "Logout" from the dropdown menu
- You'll be redirected to the login page
Security Best Practices
- Never share your Google account credentials
- Always log out when using a shared computer
- Report any suspicious activity immediately
- Keep your Google account secure with two-factor authentication
